So yesterday during Biochem, my phone rings.

I say WTF? and ignore it.

After class, I google the number and a staffing service that serves Michigan and Indiana pops up.

I say WTF again and check my voicemail.

I dance for joy.

It's a recruiter who has a client with a branch in Nashville. I'd be testing coolants. The recruiter is going to call me back to let me know if they're willing to do part time.

Apparently one of Vicki's flights got delayed, too. Her plane had a "bad engine". Nice.

On the Nashville-Charlotte flight I got stuck sitting next to some old fart who kept grabbing the stewardess's ass. I don't think he was drunk, just obnoxious. His phone kept ringing the whole flight...Aren't you supposed to turn them off? Or at least pretend and put it on silent? But, he did bash his head into the ceiling at one point. I thoroughly enjoyed that ^_^

I really should have slept last night...

Ok, so I've made it to my gate at the airport. I've got a few hours to kill, and I can't even get on-line without paying to use the airport's wifi. wtf. In an age where Krystal's has free wifi, BNA can't keep up? I paid $200 for these tickets....can't a brother get on the net?

I've been sick all morning...I've thrown up several times, it feels like I may be getting an ulcer again. Something about being at my parent's house sick earlier made me feel all full of despair, like I was reliving last summer's bouts with insanity. It was strange. I'm pretty sure it's just that I had a shitload of coffee last night when I haven't had any in forever, and not sleeping.

I had some flat Ginger Ale and a cigarette and I feel much better now, but that was so weird earlier. I felt like I was in a different reality.

I dropped ol' Blue off at the vet's office to board him...surprisingly he didn't seem to mind going there.

I got searched at security because apparently gel deodorant is a liquid? wtf. I had to throw out the pocketknife my parents got me cuz I'm an idiot and left it on my keychain. That pisses me off....I liked that knife. I can't wait to get on the plane so I can sleep...Then I have a 3 hour layover in NC. Ughhhhhh can't I just be in NY now?

So it just dawned on me that tomorrow I need to wake up at about the time I've been going to bed.

But on the bright side, today is clean out the fridge day, so I'm gonna eat myself sick.

Finally, now I have a good reason to laugh at people drinking bottled water :)

Although if I still lived in Portland with Ken Wilbur running the water works....
